Established in 2014 by a passionate coastal water user, Shark Watch SA serves the public free information regarding community and authoritarian made shark sightings. Utilising social media, the Not-For-Profit operates on a real-time alerts based system and is partners with the Australia wide Dorsal Shark Reports app. With over 150,000 local and global users, Shark Watch has worked with the media as well as a number of pioneering organisations based in surf surveillance operations.
